John Vokes has a distinguished background in leading the training and administration of emergency response services. He is known for his ability to affect sensible change and brings a common sense approach to complex regulatory and compliance issues.
John holds a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Leadership and Training (RRU), a Bachelor of General Studies (BGS) degree (SFU), and a Certificate of Fire Science from Mohawk College.
These credentials complement an employment history that includes having held positions of Director of the Fire and Safety Division, Justice Institute of BC, Deputy Fire Commissioner with the Province of BC and prior to that, career fire fighter.
