John Vokes, Principal John
Vokes has a distinguished background in the fields of fire protection,
training, and emergency response services. He is known for his ability
to affect sensible change and brings a common sense approach to complex
regulatory and compliance issues. John holds a Master of Arts (MA)
degree in Leadership and Training (RRU), a Bachelor of General Studies
(BGS) degree (SFU), and a Certificate of Fire Science from Mohawk
College. These credentials complement an employment history that
includes having held positions of director of a provincial fire school
(JIBC), deputy fire commissioner (OFCBC), and prior to that, career
fire fighter.
